What the Scott Family Ministry is Doing
Providing a Retreat for Families
The Scott Family will provide, by Pastor recommendation, an expense free retreat for missionaries on furlough and for families in need of rest.
They also provide general accommodations for vacationing families to enjoy the beauty of God's creation.
There is currently tent camping available for families to enjoy a private retreat on their 140-acre farm.
They are in the process of constructing multiple secluded cabins to have available soon.
There are many family activities available: Hiking/Biking Trails, Fishing, and Kayaking.

Training for Missionaries & God’s People
There are many needs on the mission field and several avenues available to help meet those needs, whether this means equipping missionaries, or preparing God’s people and sending a team to aid in mission work, the vision is to provide a training facility with hands-on instruction to equip others with a practical and basic understanding of different skills that will aid in the work of the ministry and help keep missionaries on the field.
This would include:
- Basic Auto and Small Engine Maintenance and Repair
- Generator and Water Pump Operations
- Basic Welding
- Alternative Energies, such as solar and gasification
- Basic Building Skills in Carpentry, Concrete, Masonry, Electrical and Plumbing
- Emergency Medical First-aid, Self-awareness and Self-defence
- Gardening and Live-stock Management
Workdays and Workshops
There have been workdays spent preparing cabin sites and instructional workshops already hosted on the farm, there are upcoming events planned.
How God’s People Can Help

The Scott Family cannot do this alone; they need God’s people to come alongside them in order to make this vision a reality!
